How to make the luminous characters in the sign
1. Draw the font to be made by the engraving machine or spray the outline of the word.
2. draw or cut the drawn font along the outer edge of the line with an art knife or scissors, and pay attention to accuracy.
3. place the cut font front face on the clean glass table top, and use the curtain wall decorative strip along the font towel.
4. edging:
(1) Use a 1-meter-long line to measure the perimeter of the characters. According to the measured perimeter and the thickness of the characters to be made, the size of the side slat can be calculated. It is not necessary to measure the perimeter of the characters in normal production. It is generally estimated.
(2) Frame the glass table with a rubber strip (according to the size of the side strip). Calculate the material consumption according to the box. 1 meter long multiplied by 1 cm wide multiplied by 30-40 grams of resin (generally, 28-35 grams are calculated when the thickness of the character edge strip within 1 meter is about 0.3cm, and 35-50 grams are calculated when the thickness of the large character over 1 meter is more than 0.3).
(3) Ingredients: resin plus 10% aluminum hydroxide, plus 0.2-0.45% color paste (red, yellow 0.2-0.3%, white 0.3-0.35%, blue, green 0.25-0.35%). Add 0.3-1.5% curing agent (according to the temperature, it is less in summer and more in winter).
(4) The curing time is about 30 minutes to 60 minutes. After curing, use an art knife, a ruler or a square tube to cut the board into 4-13cm wide strips (depending on the height of the side), turn the side strips over with the smooth surface facing up, put the transfer film on the front, and cut off multiple transfer films (Note: the transfer film should be low viscosity, not high viscosity).
(5) Use the cut resin edge strips to enclose the edges of the characters (the corners shall be cut off, and the joints of the two edges after cutting shall be pasted with transparent tape), and the edge strips and rubber strips shall be fixed with hot melt adhesive. When making some large characters, some of the edges may be tilted and pasted with a KT board (paste a thin double-sided tape on the KT board in advance).
