What is the difference between acrylic board and PS board
Acrylic (plexiglass) is divided into: extruded plate and cast plate. The identification of extruded plate is good transparency. Using the original identification method, when the fire burns, the flame is clear without smoke and bubbles, and the filament can be pulled out when extinguishing the fire. The identification of cast-in-place plate is: it is more transparent, smokeless, bubbling and squeaking when burning with fire, and there is no wire when extinguishing the fire.
PS board, the identification method is: the transparency is general, and there will be pockmarks when reflecting. It is brittle and easy to crack. There will be a clicking sound when it hits the ground. A large amount of black smoke will be produced when burning with fire.
Weighing: for acrylic display racks and PS display racks of similar styles and sizes, you can take them to the scale to measure the weight. The heavy ones are acrylic products and the light ones are PS products. The density of acrylic material is higher than that of plastic, so it will be heavier than PS.
